Every plan · local-first · memory you can edit · Cue never sends on your behalf

An action is one AI request: a drafted reply, a dictation cleanup, a screen answer, a meeting write-up, or a workflow step. Recording is metered separately, by audio duration. On-device dictation never counts.

Usage

You can seewhat you spent.

The app has a Usage screen. It shows what you have used this month against your allowance, twelve months of history, and a breakdown by feature.

On-device dictation never counts against an allowance. And every figure on that screen is written by the server, so the app is not doing its own arithmetic about your bill.

Questions

The fine print,in plain words.

01

What counts as an action?

One AI request: a drafted reply, a dictation cleanup, a screen answer or summary, a meeting write-up, or a workflow step. Reading, editing, and everything on-device never count.

02

How is transcription metered?

By audio duration, not per request. Recording is its own allowance, measured in hours: 2 a month on Free, 50 on Pro, 150 on Max. That is why a long meeting spends recording time rather than a pile of actions, and why a five-minute standup and a three-hour workshop are not charged the same.

03

Where do I see what I have used?

The Usage screen in the app. It shows this month against your allowance, twelve months of history, and a breakdown by feature. Every figure there comes from the server, so it matches what you are billed on.

04

Can Cue send an email or message for me?

No. It is by design, not by setting. Cue can draft, gather, and stage the whole sequence, but the send, post, or reply is always the one thing you do. It is not something you could switch on, and not something we could switch on for you.

05

Can I delete what it remembers?

Yes. Memory is a page you can read. Every item shows its source, and you can edit or delete any of it, or wipe everything, instantly and locally.

06

What happens when my trial ends?

Nothing dramatic. On-device dictation keeps working free, and everything Cue learned stays on your Mac. Cloud features (drafting, screen answers, cloud transcription) pause until you subscribe.

07

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage or cancel from the app's Account screen; billing runs through Stripe and takes effect at the end of the period.

08

Do you store what I write?

No. Actions are metered by count, not content: text is processed over a secure connection and forgotten. What Cue learns about you (voices, people, memory) lives on your Mac, where you can read and delete it.

09

Can I switch between Pro and Max?

Anytime, from the Account screen. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades at the next billing period.

Two weeks free isthe honest pitch.

If Cue doesn’t save you an hour in the first week, don’t pay for it.
